It wasn’t until 1879 that Washington’s Birthday became a federal holiday. Although the federal government never officially changed the name to “Presidents’ Day” the term became popular in the 1980’s to also honor Lincoln.

Presidents’ Day is a time to recognize those who had lasting and profound impacts on the United States of America and to recognize great patriots of our American history. It celebrates the ideals of public service, leadership and unity.

Fort Billings FCU will be closed to honor this holiday and the great men who shaped American History. We look forward to seeing you February 17th.
